This is the part 2 to the wiki history thing. Hope you enjoy some more wiki history.
This part is about gaining users, or so to speak, the middle area of the history.
Yo! There's a slush wiki[]
All right, so I've created a wiki, but the one big factor that makes a wiki a wiki is contributors. But how am i supposed to find contributors? First idea in my head: Tell Gildedguy. It was easy. All i had to do was tell him in his comments. After three tries, he finally responded. He said something like "Cool! It will be great to see what people have noticed about the slush invaders." Well, the only problem is, I didn't do anything. I had no idea how to do anything, which is why I had to get contributors. Gildedguy made a few pages on the wiki, and i was pretty excited to have my first edits and my very first contributor.
"I'm just a contributor who helps small wikis, like the slush invaders wiki"[]
Scottick was our second contributor. He basically said what the quote up there says. At first, it sounded like he was just one of those small contributors, so I didn't expect much from him. Well, my doubts were wrong. Scottick was our greatest contributor at the time. He did so many edits. I truly am thankful that Scottick joined this wiki.
Contributor after Contributor after contributor[]
Over time, more and more slush fans joined this wiki. The only reason I'm not making specific chapters is because I forgot the order after Scottick joined (no offense, I just really forgot because a lot of you joined at this time). We had people like The fan of wiki, Binary10101error, ZedEX-FedEX~, and that wikia contributor who liked to talk a lot (early joiners, you know who I'm talking about). I consider this our "Peak" time of the wiki. Then i realized we needed something.
Meeting time![]
We should have a wiki meeting. I decided we should talk about how to help the wiki grow and slush invaders 3. I thought this meeting would be a success. It was a half win and half loss. The win part was the fact that we managed to talk about everything I wanted to. The bad part was that only 3 people came (Scottick, Gildedguy, and I). We didn't even talk about very much, even if we did talk about everything i wanted to. Gildedguy was multitasking(not that i didn't want you too, it was fine) so it was basically a Scottick and i meeting. We also had to end it an hour early due to boredem and the fact that we ran out of things to talk about. That's why i'm hoping more people will join the next meeting, which is discussed in a different blog.
Yo! I'm Sthomas[]
You can probably guess what this chapter is about. That's right, the real Sthomas. Probably our most talkitive, hyper, really-into-the-wiki person. It was too bad he joined literally right after our meeting was done. This guy, well, you all know the description of this guy. yep, this guy is one real contributor. Thanks The Real Sthomas!
Well, that's all I can fit in the page right now. I promise you, there will be another sequel, although it may be the last for a while. Then, when more interesting things happen, I'll write another sequel. Hope you all have fun contributing to this wiki!
