Upgrades are a series of unlockable abilities for the Slush Fighters in the first game; Slush Invaders Game. Upgrades are mostly a certain way of powering up any of your Slush Fighters, such as enhancing a fighter's power, speed, evasion and cooldown. In the game, all Slush Fighters (except Standrew) each have 3 Upgrades within them. Most of the upgrades are bought by Points, while some are unlocked when completing Bonus Objectives. Although each fighters have the same number of upgrades, some Slush Fighters can use Ultimate Attacks (or simply just Ultra Attacks), special abilities within the fighter's hidden potential. Ultras are unlocked by spending Slush Tokens on certain fighters which have those types of abilities. An example is Stickyle and his Ultra Attack, Star Storm.
